2019 Global Wedding Excellence (GWE) Forum & Retreat in Dubai
Dubai Global Wedding Excellence. To perfect each element of planning weddings and demonstrate, beyond doubt, Dubai’s potential as an Experiential Destination for Global Destination Weddings, Dubai Tourism came up with the GWE Forum and Retreat.
Visit Dubai (#DubaiTourism) initiated the Dubai Global Wedding Excellence.
Exceptional wedding designers, photographers and planners from all corners of the globe packed this event.

This year’s event, which started on January 11th and ended on the 14th, was held in 11 different locations. It was the second iteration of the Dubai GWE sponsored by the following partners:
On The First Day:
Rachna Chadha’s BAQAA Glamour Weddings & Events hosted the Welcome Reception at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Resort and Spa.
DJ Khushi, Wild Goose Events & Entertainment and Focus Wedding Services hosted a Youngsters Party and Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria located on Dubai’s iconic Palm Jumeirah.
To round up the day, The Penthouse at Five Palm Jumeirah was chosen as the venue for the After-party.
On The Second Day:
Jumeirah Al Qasr, Madinat Jumeira and the Jumeira Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa were the venues for The Jumeirah Experience.
La Perle By Dragone was on Show.
Food, Inc. Catering by Yum Yum Tree, New Delhi, Dubai’s Emerald Palace Kempinski, Real Flaming Trio Events, ROOH, Anusha Arora, Showtechme and Events by Saniya hosted a “Sangeet” Party and Dinner.
On the Third Day:
Dubai’s Five Palm Jumeirah was the venue for the Leadership Forum.
The Penthouse at Five Palm Jumeirah hosted Lunch.
The Palazzo Versace hosted the Cocktail Reception.
Papa CJ, Marvels Marketing Consultancy, the Armani Hotel in Dubai, Soul Artists and Encore Event Design hosted a Grand Finale Dinner Reception.
On The Forth Day:
Dubai’s Park Hyatt hosted the See-Off Brunch
Equifax Tourism & Travel LLC, Dubai and SNTTA Emir Tours were chosen as the Destination Management Company (DMC) Partners.

To get an up close feel of Dubai’s top wedding services and venues, more than eighty world leaders made their way to Dubai for the Dubai GWE Retreat and Forum. During the event, Dubai Wedding Industry leaders met with these world leaders to initiate and build formidable business networks.
